Friday Favorite – @212_west “Hold On Pain Ends” Necklace in Collaboration with @RobbiesHope1

August 9, 2019

@212.west was started by Claire and her motivation for creating the company was “…so that you can change the world one word at a time, and give others a piece of what you are without opening your mouth. More than just words on a pendant, 212 west is a style that moves with your life. You take on life’s adventures and 212 west will be right here – engraving your journey into something beautiful. It took 2 years to make my idea into reality and THE REST IS HISTORY.” So, when she reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in partnering with her to bring awareness to her collaboration with @robbieshope1 I immediately said yes.
About @robbieshope1:
“We are a movement. An uprising of teens to help other teens. We’ve made it our mission to stop the suicide epidemic that’s taking the lives of our friends.”
Teen anxiety, depression and suicide rates have been increasing rapidly. The statistics regarding teen mental illness are alarming, yet the shame around these topics prevents many suffering from reaching out for the necessary help. This results in many adolescents fighting their battles alone. It’s time we start a conversation, speaking one word at a time to destroy the stigma.
If you or someone you know is suffering, direct them to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at (800) 273-8255.
My piece:
The necklace that I chose has the word “Hope.” While that can mean a lot to a lot of people, in this case, it stands for “Hold On Pain Ends.” Such a powerful statement that I am so honored to have been asked to wear on behalf of both @212.west and @robbieshope1.
How to order:
You can go to @212.west’s Instagram page to see the variety of products available, or directly to her website (www.212west.com) to shop.
