Wear Test Wednesday – @lorealparisusa Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick in Mademoiselle Mango

July 31, 2019

Since I fell head over heels in love with the first orange lipstick I ever purchased a few months back, I have been keeping my eye out for the next one to sweep me off my feet. However, because I don’t think I can pull off all shades of orange, I stalked several new lipstick launch lip swatch videos, done by the YouTubers I trust most. Nothing had been speaking to me until I came across videos featuring the new @lorealmakeup Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick Les Macarons line and saw the shade Mademoiselle Mango ($6.99 for .21 ounces at @ultabeauty – https://shopstyle.it/l/6rAI)!
What it claims:
🔘 All day wear, full coverage matte color
🔘 Matte liquid lipstick that resists transfer and bleeding
🔘 Delightful Macaron Aroma with notes of almond, vanilla, and cream
🔘 Designed with a pro-tip applicator for a precise and easy of application
My experience:
👍🏻 They aren’t lying when they say full coverage. It’s very opaque and provides full pigment with just a swipe.
👍🏻 The applicator is excellent. It makes precision easy.
👍🏻👎🏻 As it has been the case with all shades I own in the @lorealmakeup Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick lines (they have a few), this is a stickier than some others formula. It’s quite noticeable at first, but does fade for me after a while.
👍🏻 The color is absolutely stunning.
👍🏻 It really does last a very, very long time without the least bit of fading.
👍🏻 It isn’t at all drying.
👍🏻 Around the eight (8) hour mark, I filled in slightly just at the center of my lips. I hadn’t been careful while eating because I wanted to test the true longevity and it stood up to everything.
My verdict?
If you love bold, highly pigmented lip colors, but hate to have to constantly check if it is getting patchy or has worn off completely, this is the line of lip products for you. They are comfortable, long lasting and very affordable. Plus, they always knock the shades they release out of the park!
Have you tried this formula? If yes, what did you think? If no, do you plan on it?
