When @randco reached out, asking if I wanted to try some of their products, I instantly said yes and made my way immediately to their website and searched for volumizers (my favorite type of hair products)! I came across the DALLAS Thickening Spray ($30 for 8.5 ounces – https://shopstyle.it/l/5wOm) and knew that it was something I definitely needed to try!
What it claims:
🔘 For ultimate Texas-style big hair, use DALLAS, the quintessential spray for a mega blow-dry
🔘 Great for volume at the roots, control at the ends and an overall smooth look
🔘 Tons of body and shine without stiffness
🔘 Perfect for roller sets, hot rollers and curling irons
🔘 It is in the fragrance Dark Waves – a warm romantic scent featuring cardamom, pineapple, tangerine, lavender, bamboo, blonde woods
My experience:
👍🏻 I thoroughly enjoy the packaging of @randco products, this one included.
👍🏻 For the amount of product you get, this is a pretty good deal. You can also save an additional 10% off when you sign up for their email list as a first time customer on their website.
👍🏻 I have used this over a dozen times and I have barely made a dent. I use quite a bit each time because my hair is so thick, so I am surprised I haven’t used much more.
🔘 I part my hair in several places and spray this onto the roots. I also finish up by lightly misting the product all over my hair.
👍🏻 I agree with the claim that it doesn’t add stiffness to the hair, so it’s easy to blow dry after application.
👍🏻👎🏻 For me, it provides an excellent base of volume. It lifts my hair a decent amount and maintains that lift the entire day. However, with how voluminous I normally want my hair to be, this one product isn’t always enough, so I’ll pair it with my volumizing dry shampoo or another root lifting product that can be applied to dry hair.
My verdict?
Considering the price and performance of this product, I would say it’s absolutely a winner. It’s easy to use, effective and you don’t need a lot of product to get a good amount of volume. I will absolutely consider repurchasing when I’ve used this up.
