Foundation Friday – @natasha_denona Transformatte Pore Vanishing Matte Foundation

July 5, 2019

In my post from March 1st, I tested out a sample I had received of @natashadenonaโ€™s Transformatte Pore Vanishing Matte Foundation ($45 for .94 ounces at @sephora – https://shopstyle.it/l/5nE2). I loved my experience with it so much that I purchased the full size. The reason I am posting about it again today is because I wanted to see if my skin enjoyed it as much in the summer as it did in the spring!
What it claims:
๐Ÿ”˜ Comes in 35 shades and different undertones
๐Ÿ”˜ A medium- to full-coverage modern matte that blurs pores, visibly rejuvenates the skin, and smooths texture while protecting skin from environmental damages
๐Ÿ”˜ Transforms the appearance of uneven skin textures, creating flawless, smooth-looking skin thanks to its star botanic extract ingredientโ€”Pore Reductyl
๐Ÿ”˜ This unique, flexible formula provides all this with a cushiony-soft and comfortable coverage, while also being oil-free
๐Ÿ”˜ Vegan
My experience:
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป I purchased shade 25NY (Light Neutral-Yellow) and, while it’s a bit too yellow, looking at the shade options, I don’t think any others would work a ton better.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป I used a dampened beauty sponge to blend it out and it did so fairly easily. However, since it’s a matte foundation, it does dry down, so I would suggest working in small sections.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I achieved high medium coverage right off the bat.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Although my pores didn’t vanish, they are definitely blurred to the point I noticed and was impressed.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป All of the products I applied on top of the foundation did so with ease.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป I am slightly dewy on my nose after six (6) hours, but nowhere else and it doesn’t look greasy.
My verdict?
I am very happy to report that, at least in the spring and summer, this foundation works very well on my skin! It’s matte without looking dry or flaky. It also applies well, lasts all day and comes in very travel-friendly packaging. The only downfall is its price tag, which is a bit steep. However, you donโ€™t need much product to achieve a high level of of coverage and that makes the cost a bit more palatable.
If you wear matte foundations, which is your favorite for summertime?
