Skincare Saturday – @belifusa Moisturizing Eye Bomb

June 8, 2019

Although Iโ€™ve heard mixed reviews from skincare experts on whether or not eye cream is a routine necessity, I will say that for me, my under eye makeup looks exponentially better when I use it, so Iโ€™ll continue to include it! Today (and for the last several weeks), Iโ€™ve been testing out the @belifusa Moisturizing Eye Bomb ($48 for .84 ounces at @sephora).
What it claims:
๐Ÿ”˜ A lightweight, refreshing eye cream that smooths fine lines with a 26-hour burst of moisture, boosts elasticity, and increases the resilience of the skin for flawless makeup application
๐Ÿ”˜ Formulated with hydrating herb, comfrey leaf, and elasticity-boosting pennywort herb, the Moisturizing Eye Bomb provides a flood of intensive moisture for radiant and youthful-looking eyes
๐Ÿ”˜ This product is dermatologically tested and free of mineral oils, petrolatum, synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances, and animal origin ingredients
My experience:
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป I didnโ€™t love the price tag, but got it during the VIB Sale and knew a little goes a long way with eye cream, so added it to my cart anyway.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป The texture is thinner than Iโ€™m used to, so I felt as though I initially applied more than I needed to. I soon adjusted, however, and realized you didnโ€™t need much at all to cover the desired area.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป It did a good job of hydrating my under eyes.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป It provided a subtle cooling feeling, which was a great in the morning.
My verdict?
This is a nice eye cream. It gets the job done, but at a substantially high price tag. For that reason, Iโ€™ll use it up, but wonโ€™t be repurchasing.
If you use eye cream, whatโ€™s your go-to?
