Truth be told, I don’t get my hair cut often enough – which is exactly how it got to the length it was. And, while I love long hair, I also know that frequent trims, at the very least, is one of the secrets to keeping it healthy. So, when @mnnafsalon reached out to me, offering up a haircut with @kyley.hair, I instantly said yes!
What she did was gave a slight, blunt trim to the ends and added long bangs. With the bangs, I said I wanted to start long, but maybe go shorter once I had lived with them for a few weeks. My final verdict is that I love it!
In case you are looking to switch salons, here’s a little bit about @mnnafsalon. They:
🔘 Offer hair and makeup services
🔘 Use natural products and aromatherapy
🔘 Compost the hair they cut (this had me really impressed!)
🔘 Use reusable hand towels, bamboo toilet paper and even have reusable mesh strips for their balayage services
🔘 Recycle almost everything else they use!
What do you think about the cut? Should I do shorter and thicker bangs (bang trims are free with @kyley.hair!)? Should I bring the blonde further up during my next color appointment? Let me know in the comments!

June 11, 2019 at 4:51 pmHahahahaha me too. I have made a board on Pinterest of haircuts called my faveorite haircuts. And I love Kate Middleton’s haircut cut from her engagement from Prince William. And I had to buy hair extensions because I went to the Carrie Underwood concert in May and I cut my hair before that so I had to buy them and they’re made from real hair not fake, the ones I bought. It was my very first time to wear hair extensions.

June 12, 2019 at 10:13 amI have a Pinterest board like that, too! It’s funny to see how often what I pin changes.
I have always wanted hair extensions, but was too afraid of the cost, time commitment and upkeep. How did yours work out?

June 11, 2019 at 4:59 pmHahahahaha me too, I went to the Carrie Underwood concert in May on 24th in Tacoma and I had to buy hair exstentions, it was my very first time to wear them. I’ve never worn extensions until the concert. I had to buy them because I cut my hair before the concert. These extensions are made out of real hair.
