Travel Tuesday – @tuelskincare Travel Pack

April 16, 2019

When @nikirobisonbrows gifted me this @tuelskincare Travel Pack ($56 on their website), I couldn’t wait to test everything out during my trip to Cincinnati!
What it claims:
🔘 Controls and balances excess oil
🔘 Refines the appearance of enlarged pores and uneven texture
🔘 Strengthens and fortifies combo skin
What it contains:
It appears the packaging has been updated since this one was purchased, but the contents are nearly identical. Below is what is included in the set I received:
🔘 Balancing Act Milk Cleanser
🔘 Hydrate Moisture Gel
🔘 Balancing Act Cleansing Oil
🔘 Balancing Act Herbal Toner
🔘 Special Delivery Night Cream
🔘 Power Scrub Exfoliating Wash
My experience:
👍🏻 I enjoy the sleek packaging – it fits very well in my travel kit.
👍🏻 The provided step-by-step guide is easy to understand.
👎🏻 The fact that you get four (4) travel-sized products and two (2) sample sized products for $56 is hard for me to wrap my head around.
👍🏻👎🏻 While the products were nice, the only one I found to be something I’d consider purchasing the full size of is the Power Scrub ($34 for 1.7 ounces on their website).
👎🏻 The Cleansing Oil didn’t remove all of my makeup.
👍🏻👎🏻 They state one of the benefits of this set is that the bottles are refillable, but I don’t consider that unique or a reason to spend that much on travel-sized products.
My experience:
While I will use these containers up and may even refill them with my current skincare favorites, I can’t recommend this set. It’s far too expensive for the amount of product you get. If you are looking for refillable, travel-friendly containers, I would suggest a trip to @thecontainerstore.
Have you ever tried this brand?
