Travel Tuesday – @tuelskincare Travel Pack

April 16, 2019

When @nikirobisonbrows gifted me this @tuelskincare Travel Pack ($56 on their website), I couldnโ€™t wait to test everything out during my trip to Cincinnati!
What it claims:
๐Ÿ”˜ Controls and balances excess oil
๐Ÿ”˜ Refines the appearance of enlarged pores and uneven texture
๐Ÿ”˜ Strengthens and fortifies combo skin
What it contains:
It appears the packaging has been updated since this one was purchased, but the contents are nearly identical. Below is what is included in the set I received:
๐Ÿ”˜ Balancing Act Milk Cleanser
๐Ÿ”˜ Hydrate Moisture Gel
๐Ÿ”˜ Balancing Act Cleansing Oil
๐Ÿ”˜ Balancing Act Herbal Toner
๐Ÿ”˜ Special Delivery Night Cream
๐Ÿ”˜ Power Scrub Exfoliating Wash
My experience:
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I enjoy the sleek packaging – it fits very well in my travel kit.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The provided step-by-step guide is easy to understand.
๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป The fact that you get four (4) travel-sized products and two (2) sample sized products for $56 is hard for me to wrap my head around.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป While the products were nice, the only one I found to be something Iโ€™d consider purchasing the full size of is the Power Scrub ($34 for 1.7 ounces on their website).
๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป The Cleansing Oil didnโ€™t remove all of my makeup.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป They state one of the benefits of this set is that the bottles are refillable, but I donโ€™t consider that unique or a reason to spend that much on travel-sized products.
My experience:
While I will use these containers up and may even refill them with my current skincare favorites, I canโ€™t recommend this set. Itโ€™s far too expensive for the amount of product you get. If you are looking for refillable, travel-friendly containers, I would suggest a trip to @thecontainerstore.
