Texture Tuesday – Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish

March 12, 2019

One of my shower must-haves is a body scrub, so when I received the @soapandglory @soapandgloryusa Flake Away Body Polish ($15 for 10.1 ounces at @walgreens) in a Beauty Enthusiast (Walgreens’ beauty rewards program) gift bag, I could wait to try it out!
What it claims:
🔘 Superhero-strength, skin-sationally smoothing body scrub with shea butter, sweet almond oil, apricot seed powder, sea salt and sugar
🔘 Super-smoother helps you buff your way to beautiful, softer and fresher skin
🔘 Scented with our ORIGINAL PINK™ fragrance
My experience:
👍🏻 I used this to scrub my entire body – including my legs before shaving to give me a closer shave. It did a nice job of making my skin feel softer and smoother.
👍🏻 The smell is AMAZING! If they offer a perfume version of their “Original Pink” fragrance, I’ll buy them all!
👍🏻 I enjoyed that the product wasn’t too greasy, but also didn’t make my skin feel dry and tight after using.
👍🏻👎🏻 Even though the grit feels intense when I pick it up out of the jar, it quickly dissipates. I wish that it lasted a little longer so that less of the product would go further.
My verdict?
I would say this is a somewhat above average body scrub, but with a scent I can’t get enough of! Because it’s affordable and I think I will miss the aroma so much when it’s gone, I will likely repurchase.
What’s your favorite Soap & Glory product?

Love this review and I love this product too, I’ve used it for a while and it leaves my skin baby soft.

Do you love the scent, too?! My office now smells like it because I brought it with me today to take a photo of and I couldn’t be happier about that! 🙂

This is my favorite body polish, too! What I love most from their line, though, is their Hand Food
