One of the many benefits of having a family member in the beauty industry is that she’s given products to try and if they don’t work for her, she knows exactly where to send them! Thank you, @nikirobisonbrows, for giving me the @orgskincare Oxygen Cleanser ($44 for 2 ounces on their website) to test out!
What it claims:
π Fast-acting oxygen-activated gel transforms into a mousse for a βliftingβ effect that leaves skin feeling instantly refreshed
π Collagen agent revitalizes skin and helps restore natural collagen levels for youthful skin
π Effectively deep cleans, dissolving dirt, oil and makeup, and tightens pores without sucking the life out of your skin
My experience:
ππ» Although it matters nothing to the performance, I really enjoy the packaging.
ππ» I love the texture. It is thick and moisturizing feeling.
ππ»ππ» Yesterday, I attempted to use this to remove a full face of makeup. While it did an excellent job of removing my face makeup, it struggled with my mascara – which was not waterproof.
ππ» Today, using it on a bare face worked really well. My skin felt very clean afterward.
ππ» Neither time did my skin feel tight or dry after.
My verdict?
If this cleanser removed my makeup and was half the price, I would absolutely consider purchasing it. However, itβs not a complete product for me with a high price tag, so I canβt say I recommend it.
How important is packaging to you? I have to admit that it plays a part in the buying process for me, even though I wish it didnβt!
