(Do I) Still Love it Saturday – Batiste Dry Shampoo

February 16, 2019

One of the first @youtube creators I began to watch with regularity was @shaaanxo and one of the first products I heard her rave about was @batiste_us Dry Shampoo ($7.99 for 6.73 ounces, but pictured is the travel size which is $3.99 for 1.6 ounces). I purchased it and then continued to repurchase over and over again because I loved it so much! But then I began testing others and never came back to it…until today!
What it claims:
🔘 The quick and convenient way to get soft, clean and fresh smelling hair, without water
🔘 Offers an instant fix by revitalizing greasy, dull and lifeless hair
🔘 Thickens thin fly-away hair and adds texture and body for that easy style solution
My experience:
🔘 This is day three (3) hair.
🔘 As I do with all dry shampoos, I applied a generous amount to my roots and let it sit for around five (5) minutes to give it a chance to absorb all of the oils.
👍🏻 After five (5) minutes I massaged it into my scalp and was pleasantly surprised at how refreshed it appeared immediately after.
👎🏻 Even though I had thoroughly applied it, I noticed after I was done working it in and brushing it that it hadn’t made all areas completely oil-free, so I reapplied it to those areas and then it looked refreshed like the rest.
👍🏻 I really enjoy the scent and think it does a good job of making my hair smell cleaner.
👍🏻 I applied it six (6) hours ago and my hair still looks oil-free.
👍🏻👎🏻 While it doesn’t weigh my hair down, it doesn’t volumize as much as my current favorite does.
My experience:
I can see how I would have continually repurchased this! It’s an excellent price and it does a really good job. It won’t dethrone my favorite, but I’m happy I have a dry shampoo in my arsenal that I can buy when I’m not in the mood to break the bank with my number one (1).
If you love Batiste Dry Shampoos, which variety is your favorite?
