Try Out Tuesday – Viseart Libertine Eyeshadow Palette

February 12, 2019

As you saw in my post last weekend, I purchased the @beautylish Lucky Bag for the first time this year. Before I received mine in the mail, I watched several unboxing videos, so my anticipation was sky high with hopes of getting some of the items those people were getting. While they got some things I wanted that I didn’t get, I also got some unique items I hadn’t seen unboxed that I was very happy to receive. However, my day was made even better when I received a direct message from @corceca . She had received the @viseart Libertine Eyeshadow Palette ($49 at Beautylish), but didn’t see herself using it and wanted to pass it along to me. Saying I was thrilled and thankful would be an understatement! So, thank you again to her for making today’s post possible!
What it claims:
🔘 Enjoy the buttery feel and superior blendability of Viseart’s signature powder eyeshadows, which feature triple-milled pigments for intense, long-lasting color payoff
🔘 The sturdy palette is perfectly sized for slipping into a purse or bag and comes with a vanity-sized mirror for easy touch-ups
🔘 Pressed pigment shades can be applied dry for a sheer, all-over wash of color or wet for an extreme color payoff
🔘 Cruelty, paraben, silicone, gluten and mineral oil free
My experience:
🔘 Today, I used Resistance as my transition shade, Chant as my all over lid color (which I applied wet), Unleashed in the center of my lid, Empowered and Debauched mixed and packed onto my lower lash line, Resistance and Rebellion mixed to blend out my lower lash line and then a pop of Defiance on the outside third of my lower lash line. I attempted to use Unleashed in my inner corner, but it was too dark.
👍🏻 There was very little fall out during initial application, which was so appreciated since I had done my foundation first.
👍🏻 I have been wearing this look for almost ten (10) hours and I am shocked that I have experienced no creasing and very minimal fading.
My verdict?
Imagine my surprise when I compared the product weight and price of this palette to others I own and discovered that, per gram, it’s less expensive than, for example, Urban Decay’s Born to Run Eyeshadow Palette! So, taking into account the color selection (which I love), pigmentation, longevity and competitive price point, I would absolutely recommend this product! Just be aware that some are pressed pigments and not traditional eyeshadows.
Have you tried any Viseart products? Anything I need to add to my list to try?
