Skincare Sunday

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Thanks to a gift from @nikirobisonbrows for my birthday, I have been testing the @sorellaapothecary Orange You Jelly Cleanser ($38 for 5.7 ounces on their website)!
What it claims:
🔘 Gel cleanser that will remove impurities without drying you out, leaving your skin clean and hydrated
🔘 Removes the appearance of surface build up
🔘 Oil-free ingredients help even your skin tone, giving you a healthy, glowing complexion
🔘 Paraben, sulfate, cruelty and gluten free
My experience:
🔘 I used it for the first time last night to remove an entire face of makeup (including what was on my eyes). I used it for the second time this morning to cleanse my clean skin.
👍🏻 I thoroughly enjoy the scent. I would compare it to a creamsicle.
👎🏻 On a scale of 1-10, the eye burn I got from using this to remove my mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner was a 3. Not the most gentle I’ve ever used, but not the most irritating either.
👍🏻 I used a nickel-sized amount each time and it was sufficient enough to cleanse my entire face and neck.
👍🏻 It didn’t leave my skin dry or too tight. I actually noticed a slight vibrancy to my face.
My verdict?
This product smells excellent, has beautiful packaging and, most importantly, thoroughly cleanses my skin without drying it out. The only drawbacks, in my opinion, are availability (only sold online and in limited salons, from what I can see) and price. There are plenty of great cleansers that are easier to locate and cost less, so, because of that, I won’t repurchase.
Do you remove your makeup with one cleanser and then cleanse your clean skin with another (double cleanse)? Or are you just happy with your makeup being removed every night (🙋‍♀️)?
